Hi, my name is Dave Smith and I am a Driving Standards Agency Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) and have been fully trained in the latest teaching methods to ensure that your training is the best available.

Based in Langley, near Slough in Berkshire, I cover the following areas: Slough, Langley, Iver, Iver Heath, Cowley, West Drayton, Yiewsley, Uxbridge, Hillingdon, Harmondsworth, Colnbrook, Horton, Windsor, Holyport, Staines, Egham, Thorpe, Wraysbury, Old Windsor, Datchet, Dedworth, Bray, Cippenham, Burnham, Britwell, Chalvey and the surrounding areas.  I currently present candidates for test at Slough, Chertsey and Hayes test centres.  Since 2006, I have been offering expert tuition to drivers of varying abilities, both through BSM and independently.  I am fully qualified and provide professional driving instruction tailored to your individual needs.

I pride myself on teaching everyone, even nervous or inexperienced people, how to drive safely and well. Whether this is your first attempt at passing your driving test, or you simply want to brush up on existing skills, I can offer a range of lessons especially for you.

Courses available:
Learner driving courses consisting of lessons of 60, 90 and 120 minutes are available and can be taken at times to suit you.  I also offer semi-intensive driving courses, motorway tuition and night time driving courses.  Typical costs for learners are between £20 - £25 per hour; however, please feel free to ask for a personalised quote.

If you have previously been unsuccessful in your driving test, I can offer remedial help and advice. Refresher courses for those who haven’t driven for a while can be arranged to suit need and ability. Motorway driving, night time driving, parking help and foreign license conversion are other services on offer. You can pay for your lessons in advance or on the day, either by cash or cheque.  If you are the parent or grandparent of a young person about to take that first big step towards driving, then I also have attractive gift vouchers available for you to purchase, covering tuition from a single lesson to a complete course.

My students are all encouraged to take responsibility for their own learning by setting targets for their personal development.  I find that this really helps keep them motivated because they know exactly what they are going to achieve and it makes their learning an enjoyable experience.  I learnt these coaching skills during my own training to become a driving instructor with BSM, who put me through their Driving Instructor Training Programme.  I really enjoyed my training, finding it well structured, inspiring and tailored to suit my needs; it enables me to deliver the same to my students.

As an adindi associate instructor I am able to deliver lessons to my students in a new, air conditioned, dual controlled Vauxhall Corsa , which is exchanged on a regular basis.
